Northumberland Star

This image was sent to me by a customer who bought this piece
and took it to her cottage on the Northumberland Strait.
This one-of-a-kind star is made from what I like to call repurposed copper and genuine ocean-tumbled beach glass.

The star is approx. 18 to 20 inches tall.

Oh that IS really nice. I think I might have to try to make that just for myself, I need something big on my front door for the holidays..well..forever! I too have some very large, awkward pieces that I can't use for jewellery, some with leftover details of patterns or words (those are my favorite types of beach glass), so maybe I'll find something with a bit of character. That piece is brilliant in that window.
